| There are a number of stables in the area for the novice, the intermediary and experienced rider. Meath is famous for the wonderful horses it produces. Lessons and trekking for all ages and standards are readily available in the equestrian centres in the vicinity of Bellinter House. Our reservations and reception team will be happy to assist in making arrangments to visit any of the above attractions. |

| County Meath boasts some of the finest golf courses in Ireland. Tee times are available at any of the below courses. Please let reservations know if you would like to play whilst here at Bellinter House. Royal Tara This scenic parkland course is in the heart of Co. Meath adjacent to the Hill of Tara. It is a pleasant tree lined course of average length with various degrees of difficulty. Headford Golf Club This scenic parkland course is in the heart of Co. Meath 25 minutes drive from Bellinter House. It is a pleasant tree lined course of average length with various degrees of difficulty. Knightbrook A challenging and creative course, golfers can enjoy views over mature undulating parkland. Incorporated into the course there are demanding water features, 9 lakes and the Knightsbrook River. |

| Out Door Pursuits |
| For the more energetic there are a number of outdoor pursuits available in the local area, which we can arrange for you. Wakeboarding situated in Summerhill, about a 20 minute drive from Bellinter, the Irish Aquatic Sports centre offers an amazing up to date facility to learn the sport of wakeboarding or waterskiing. If you are out for a days fun, or a seasoned pro, they have all you need. They cater for beginners and pros and provide all equiptment including wetsuits, shower and changing facilities and expert coaching. At nearby Rathe House 30 minute drive, any of the following activities can be arranged; Raft Building Build your own raft and beat the other teams to get the flag first while you do your best to stay dry! Archery Try your hand at archery, both indoor and outdoor. Challenging competitions between you and the other guests can be organised at your level of ability, and they supply both left and right handed bows. Clay Pigeon Shooting To complete your country-living experience, why not try clay pigeon shooting with XXX shotguns. 4x4 Off Road Landrover Driving Driving over and through a purpose built off road course. You can enjoy the opportunity of putting a land rover through its paces with manoeuvres you can only day dream about. 4 X 4 off road driving is the ultimate country pursuit experience. All activities can be scheduled to best suit you, arrangements can be made on arrival. Horseriding There are a number of excellent equestrian centres in the local area that cater for experienced and inexperienced adults and children. |

| Hot Air Balloon Flights |
| Why not try a unique adventure and enjoy the fantastic Boyne Valley from the sky! A ballooning adventure will take approximately 4 hours, with the flight time itself being approximately 1 hour. Hot air balloon flights can take off from the front lawn at Bellinter or Newgrange, Navan, Slane, Trim, and Kells. Flights take place at sunrise and sunset and are weather permitting. Flights are available for individuals, couples or groups. |
