GOLF at Co Tipperary Golf & Country Club
We boast our own onsite Co. Tipperary Golf & Country Club, 18 Hole par 72 championship golf course.. This parkland course was designed by none other than 1995 Ryder Cup hero Philip Walton. Philip visits the course regularly and offers several "Golf Weeks" in which he personally teaches the guests over the course of the week. The next of which takes place in September 2008. He also is an integral part of the Dundrum House Hotel, Golf & Leisure Resort Pro-Am which will take place 14 - 16 July 2008.

Situated at Rosegreen, 15 miles east of Dundrum House Hotel, Golf & Leisure Resort is Tipperary Raceway. This international raceway is a regular host to Hot Rod, Lightning Rod, Stock Rod and Production Car racing. It also boasts a Go-karting circuit which is open to the public. Full safety gear and training is provided prior to entering the Karts.
 
South Tipperary boasts a rich equestrian tradition and offers a wide range of Horse riding schools and day camps to suit any level of rider. These exclusive schools are open to the public with many available all year round.

The Rock of Cashel
The Rock of Cashel is loacted just 7 miles from Dundrum House Hotel, Golf & Leisure Resort and provides an ispiring backdrop to the region. In 2008 it was chosen to be the centre-piece of the Skyfest fireworks celebration, the highlight of the St Patricks Day celebrations.The Castle itself is a spectacular group of medieval buildings set on a outcrop of limestone in the Golden Vale including the 12th century round tower, High Cross and Romanesque Chapel, 13th century Gothic cathedral, 15th century castle and the restored Hall of the VicarsIt is advisable for visitors to check availability of tours in advance to avoid disappointment. Places of Interest
The Cashel Heritage Centre invites you to investigate the rich heritage of Cashel, one of Irelands most significant Ecclesiastical Centres dating to before St. Patrick. It provides the visitor with a series of changing exhibitions, a large- scale model of Cashel in the 1640s, highlighting the lesser-known treasures of the town. The Charters of Cashel, King Charles II 1663 and James II 1687 are also on permanent display.
 
The Bru Boru Cultural Centre (Cashel) This facility incorporates a folk theatre, restaurant, craft centre, information centre and genealogy suite. This is a must visit attraction when visiting the town of Cashel, just 7 miles away from Dundrum House Hotel, Golf & Leisure Resort
 
Considered to be one of the most spectacular caves in Europe, Mitchelstown Cave is located 12 kilometres east of Mitchelstown & a pleasant 45 minute car journey form Dundrum House Hotel, Golf & Lisure Resort, through the picturesque Golden Vale.
 
South Tipperary and County Museum is located in the heart of Clonmels civic centre, just little over 30 minutes away from Dundrum House Hotel, Golf & Leisure Resort. South Tipperary County Museum tells the story of the countys fascinating history, from prehistoric to modern times. With regular exhibitions by national and international artists, this is a must see when visiting the South East region.
 
The Glen of Aherlow is a quiet country valley, secluded but not isolated. It stretches from the N24, South of the heritage town of Tipperary, through sixteen miles of unspoilt countryside affording some of the most breathtaking scenery imaginable. It is the perfect opportunity to relax in the Irish countryside as many picnic areas are scattered along the main walking routes.
 
Cahir castle is one of Irelands largest and best-preserved castles. It is situated on a rocky island on the River Suir in the historic town of Cahir, 8 miles south of Cashel. The castle retains its impressive keep, tower and much of its original defensive structure. Tours are available on a daily basis during peak season.
 
Fishing on the Suir and Multeen
Dundrum House Hotel, Golf & Leisure Resort lies close to the rich rivers of Suir & The Multeen. These rivers are notable for their rich angling heritage with Brown Trout being the catch of the day.
 
Marl Bog (Dundrum)
Marl Bog is located on the Tipperary to Thurles road, 1 km on Tipperary side of Dundrum Village.
